Weather.com iPhone App Allows Advertising with Fake Facebook Interface for Phishing Scheme
As shown above, the iPhone app from Weather.com permits misleading advertising designed to look like Facebook. When you click the globe icon it takes you to a landing page that mimics the Facebook font and color-scheme, to establish trust with the user who completes a survey. This is equivalent to false advertising and phishing.
