Summary. We embrace the following best practices regarding copyright, open source, transparency, and collaboration.

Images on this Website. The materials on this site are used for education and social commentary purposes, not for commercial revenue generating purposes. Although our purposes qualify for fair use, we make every effort to use images intended for free use. If you see an image on our site that is owned by a person or entity and used without permission, please contact us. We will be happy to take it down, since we don’t have a budget for paid use of commercial images. While we act on such requests, we can’t always provide an individual response. Thanks for your understanding.

Transparency and Collaboration. To the greatest extent possible, every effort is made to maintain transparency in our operations. This allows for more effective public engagement, involvement, and collaboration.

Copyright Meltdown. For more about the Copyright crisis, read Copyright Meltdown.

Simultaneous Discovery. Here is a quote about simultaneous discovery.

“There are all these seemingly spontaneous world-wide innovative leaps in science and the arts… The same results popping up everywhere … independent of each other. Some guy on a computer, he figures something out, and then almost simultaneously a bunch of other people all over the world figure out the same thing.” ~ Waking Life
