Facebook seems to be trying out a new user interface. If you’re being impacted by this, you may notice slow load times on your own personal page, and if you try to post an update from your own personal page, it may take a while for the post creation and editing window to show up. Also, the button to post and make your update live may be missing.
If you are having this problem, go to the Home page news feed (the listing of people’s posts) and use the post feature at the top of that page. It is the older, faster, more reliable interface and posting seems to still work fine there.
