Notebook Touch Pad Not Working

Symptom: Notebook touch pad not working.

Possible Resolution: In some conditions, such as colder than usual temperatures, mouse touch pads may stop responding to touch. With Apple notebooks, it is possible to rest the palm of your hand on the entire touch pad surface. This should reset or re-calibrate the touch pad surface. If this method doesn’t work, something else may be wrong with your system. This procedure may also work brands of notebook computers other than Apple.
