Problem. The Mozilla Thunderbird email client will forward an e-mail as an attached .eml file making it difficult to read for some people. It also makes it challenging to edit the forwarded text before sending it.
Solution. From Preferences, go to Composition, General, and set Forward Messages to Inline.
