The documentary “Inside the Firestorm” examines why the event was so extreme and catastrophic. Written and directed by Jacob Hickey, the documentary was released on 4 Feb 2010. This post is dated 7 Feb 2009 to coincide with the date of the event.

YouTube user whophd (Daniel Smith) provides this comment about the digital conversion of this video: “This video has been lovingly, painstakingly remastered into 1280x720p25 (after the initial broadcast was presented in a processed 1440i50 cross-conversion from 1080pSF). This required tens of hours of work (and hundreds of spare gigabytes). This is now the only available version of this magnificent work in an undamaged 720p format. This has been done as a tribute to the authors and their work, and no infringement is intended.”
