Dell Adamo 10-inch Netbook Inspiron Mini 10 Notebook Computer

Technology

Summary. Dell is offering a new notebook, the Adamo, with glass display and aluminum construction. The Adamo has received much press attention including stories featured by Engadget,  Reuters, and the Wall Street Journal.

Review. This notebook represents a departure from most Windows compatible notebook computers because of the elegance in design and durability of construction. It’s been compared to Apple notebook computers for this reason. The stylish design of the Adamo has some people asking, “Is Dell the new Apple.” With Dell’s latest models such as the Inspiron 15 series in the $600 price range, consumers will need to be convinced to spend more for quality. Since Dell is a world leader in computing, perhaps a move by them toward durable and stylish systems will catch on with other manufacturers.
