ICPL Wellness Event: Pran Therapy Workshop for Increased Energy, Healing, and Calming the Mind

Summary. Pavan Jain, Director of Satya Bodh Ashram in India, will be offering an evening presentation and practical workshop for those working in the healing arts and sciences, or those interested in learning more. Additional information about Pran Therapy is available at SatyaBodhAshram.com

Date & Time. Because of the great demand for this workshop, and for those unable to attend the March 30 event at East-West School, this workshop will be offered twice in April at the Iowa City Public Library:

  • Thursday, 7 April 2011, 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM — Meeting Room B [ICPL Page]
  • Tuesday, 12 April 2011, 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM — Meeting Room A [ICPL Page]

Location. The Iowa City Public Library is located in downtown Iowa City. The meeting rooms are located just inside the east entrance of the library shown in the photo to the right.

FacilityMeeting Room B (April 7) is a smaller room that can accommodate 26 people. Meeting Room A (April 12) is a larger room with a capacity of 200 people.

About the Workshop. Pran therapy is an ancient yogic science of preventing and curing physical or psychological ailments by healing subtle bodies. It was discovered several thousand years ago in India, during Vedic culture. In this workshop, you will learn the basic principles of Pran Therapy and also have an opportunity to apply what you learn.
