Problem
If you have a Frigidaire microwave functioning as a stovetop hood vent fan it may turn on if the cooking range causes an overheating issue. However, even after a period of time to cool down, it may continue running on high without responding to the on/off switch.
Solution
To correct the problem, try turning on the microwave oven momentarily, set to a few seconds, and then the microwave oven turns off, the fan may automatically reset and turn off.
