The World According to Google Search Results

When you think of sustainable agriculture, what comes to mind?

Usually a Google search on just about any topic will provide authoritative sources of information among the top results.

Among the top results you won’t find your friendly local natural foods store organic brands.

Surprisingly Monsanto is in the #1 position. This is probably due to someone’s genius SEO decision to put “A Sustainable Agriculture Company” as the solitary keywords in their website description (see below). Monsanto is considered by some to be a company that utilizes genetically modified lifeforms and chemicals instead of natural and sustainable methods.

Other winners of the top positions are Altria (Phillip Morris), Pepsi, and Coca-Cola.

Below are the Google search results for sustainable architecture company.
