The Paper Nest is a new, up-and-coming Iowa City buisness, locally owned and run.
We are Iowa City’s venue for high-quality, art paper.
We have great papers to choose from, including a variety of Hahnemuhle, decorative Japanese paper, and Arches, Rives, Johannot, Sekishu, Sakamoto, and some great handmade papers!
In edition to carrying a large, quantity of paper, we offer “Begining Printmaking” and “Letterpress Packs,” for those of you that are embarking on your first printing adventure!
This will allow you to try a variety of paper, and find out what works best for you. We also have an assortment of Shanna Leino’s hand-crafted bookbinding tools on hand (coming soon to the website), as well as paste brushes, awls, and alternative bonefolders.
