Summary
At a time when the nation is at odds, there’s one thing these two opponents agree on: “Pharmaceutical companies get away with murder.” Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump both agree that pharmaceutical companies are extorting money from patients with artificially inflated prices on drugs and essential medical supplies. Normally, with matters of consumer choice, marketplace demand determine price, but when your life, or the life of your loved ones is on the line, you’ll pay whatever is demanded. This kind of price gouging must stop.
